The initial stock order for the more popular models of the new range is valued at over $500,000.
Ben Croxton, CEO of World Energy said, "This initial order enables us to supply our most popular models to our major distributors and dealers, who have already responded very positively to prototype and sample models. We have a number of forward orders for the TVSS and we are on schedule to sign a number of distribution and dealership agreements in the upcoming weeks."
World Energy currently has 216 different models in this range with the major applications, primarily for surge protection in Telecom, CCTV, Fire and Intruder Alarms and Access Control Equipment sectors.
Croxton said that for the past few months SAE has researched components, designed tooling and moulds, developed assembly processing, and ordered handling and freighting systems.
"All models of the new TVSS range can now be mass produced at SAE's Hudson plant and more production facilities will be committed to TVSS manufacture as sales increase," noted Croxton.
An SAE spokesperson said, "We are pleased to have this initial order after a lengthy development project with Word Energy Solutions. We are fully committed to an on-going and increasing volume of orders which are of unique design in high quality materials and a most efficient performance."
