Dan May Joins World Energy Solutions as Vice President, Diesel Division

Industry Veteran Brings 34 Years of Automotive Experience

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- World Energy Solutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WEGY - News), a company focused on energy conservation technologies and environmental sustainability, announced today that automotive engineering veteran Dan May, P.E., has joined the company as Vice President, Diesel Division.

May brings 34 years of automotive experience in design, development, validation testing, manufacturing and assembly, as well as analysis and evaluation of fuel systems.

Most recently, May was a Managing Engineer for California-based Exponent, a Company that provides high-level engineering consulting services to the automotive industry.

Prior to joining Exponent, May was employed by Ford Motor Company from 1972 to 2007. During his 24-year tenure, May held numerous supervisory positions in Advanced Product Engineering Design and Analysis.

May began his career with General Motors Corporation as a Project Engineer with Pontiac Motor Division in 1969.

May has also appeared as an expert witness in over 60 depositions and trials involving the automotive industry in both state and federal courts.

May holds both an M.S.M.E. and a B.S.M.E. from Purdue University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan and in Alabama, and is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
